Tik Tok Junior was brought to life in 2013 by Carla Ferrarin, owner and director of the mother brand Tik Tok Frock which was born in 2010.
With extensive training in fashion and textiles, Carla is able to create textile prints from her own paintings, illustrations and other forms of mark making. In conjunction with her patternmaking skills she is able to create garments that are not only eye catching pieces of artwork, but they are exceptionally functional with ease and comfort playing a major role in the design process.
Silhouettes are drawn from the natural shape and form of a child’s body and then draped with movement and ease being kept in mind. Dropped crotched harems, hi-lo hemmed t-shirts and hoodies all in neutral and on trend colours are just a few key pieces that are commonly featured within seasonal ranges.
Only the highest quality fabrics are used and wastage is kept to a bare minimum throughout every process during production at her home based studio in Melbourne.
